Logistics Coordinator - MidrandJob Specification:A professional, self-motivated individual must fill this vital position. The Logistics Coordinater will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments and keep transportation costs low.The successful candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates and maintaining an accurate inventory.Key Performance Areas:Processing ordersOrganising the dispatch and delivery of goodsKeeping accurate recordsManaging timesheetsStock controlStorage planningProcurement activitiesContract and overall supplier relationship managementDistribution planning and managing waste removal and disposalSchedule and track inbound and outgoing shipmentsEnsure materials and end products are delivered to relevant sites in a timely manner as per clientsxe2x80x99 criteriaMaintain customer service logs and safety recordsStrategic inputs, development and implementationsFinancial management by improving cost to company of all inbound and outbound logistics operationMinimum Requirements:Experience:At least 3 years' experience as a Logistics Coordinator, specifically gained within a import and export environment;Qualifications:A completed tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics will be an advantageousJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelors (Preferred)Experience:Logistics: 3 years (Required)
