Logistics Coordinator (dangerous Goods / Fuel)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the companys logistics operations to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries
- Manage the logistics team to ensure optimal performance
- Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
- Tracking and solving problems with deliveries - effective communication to the relevant parties involved.
- Making special delivery arrangements as necessary.
- Reviewing purchase orders and delivery documents accurately before it's handed over for processing.
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
- Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Tertiary Qualification in Logistics Management or similar
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in Bulk Vehicle Operations/Dangerous Goods/Fuel
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Non-smoker
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to meet changing deadlines and solve problems promptly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Available to work after hours
- Extensive knowledge of Cape Peninsula and surrounding areas
- HSSE knowledge
- Management experience & leadership skills
- Excellent written, verbal communications and Excel skills
- Stock controlling
- Own Reliable Transport
