The Linen Factory Manager at Nuka Linen and Towel Rentals is responsible for overseeing daily factory operations, ensuring efficient processing, cleaning, quality control, and distribution of linens and towels. This role ensures high standards of hygiene, productivity, staff management, equipment maintenance, and customer satisfaction while meeting business goals and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee daily linen and towel processing operations, including washing, drying, folding, and packaging
Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and on time
Monitor inventory levels of linens, towels, detergents, and supplies
Implement procedures to minimize loss, damage, and waste
Quality Control & Hygiene
Ensure all linens meet company cleanliness, appearance, and hygiene standards
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Conduct regular quality inspections and address issues promptly
Staff Management
Supervise, train, and schedule factory staff
Ensure staff follow proper procedures and safety guidelines
Monitor performance, productivity, and attendance
Foster a positive and disciplined work environment
Equipment & Maintenance
Oversee proper use and maintenance of laundry machines and factory equipment
Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
Report and address equipment issues promptly
Administration & Reporting
Maintain production records, staff reports, and inventory logs
Track costs and assist with budget control
Communicate operational updates to senior management
Customer & Business Support
Coordinate with delivery and customer service teams
Ensure orders are accurate and ready for distribution
Assist in improving efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in laundry, linen services, manufacturing, or factory management
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Knowledge of industrial laundry processes and equipment
Ability to manage staff and meet deadlines
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Basic computer and record-keeping skills
Understanding of health and safety standards

Pay: R10000,00 - R15000,00 per month
