What will make you successful in this role?
Job Purpose
To review and resolve escalated claims and service-related disputes in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner. This role helps protect the organization's reputation by mitigating risks and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective resolution strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Dispute Assessment & Resolution: Investigate escalated claims and complaints, applying policy terms, regulatory standards, and NFO guidance to determine appropriate outcomes.
Customer Interaction: Manage complex queries and disputes, liaise with customers and internal stakeholders, and ensure timely, professional communication across all channels.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all resolutions align with internal policies, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, and regulatory requirements. Identify and escalate non-compliance issues.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Claims, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Customer Service to support resolution efforts and improve processes.
Qualifications
Essential: Bachelor of Laws or Bcom Law
Experience
Essential:
o 3+ years in short term insurance
o 2+ year in dispute resolution Advantageous:
