Job Purpose:
Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes

Preferred Education:
xe2x80x8bFull Technical Waiver Applies: Professional Portfolio to illustrate expertise in Adobe Software (specifically Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects)xe2x80x8b

Ideal:
Honours Degree / Masters in a design field, such as Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or Digital Design with advanced Premier Pro, Audition and After Effects skills
OR
Honours Degree / Masters in Digital Design, Multimedia Design or Interaction Design.

Alternatively:
Honours Degree / Masters in Graphic Design or Information Design with at least 2 years industry experience as a digital designer.

Work Experience
xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bMinimum 1 years work or teaching experience and portfolio in Adobe Creative Cloud Software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects with experience in video and audio editing, and motion graphics.
OR
At least 2 years industry experience as a digital designer in a design studio or advertising agency. A solid foundation in the fundamental elements and formal principles of Visual design are key. The candidate is required to have a layered portfolio detailing her/his ability to engage with basic to intermediate design challenges.

Key Performance Areas:

Preparation and lecturing as per the Module Guide

Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours and stipulated per pre agreed timetable

Briefing students for assignments and providing feedback in a timeous manner

Presenting class marks and feedback to the MODULE DISCIPLINE LEADER and discuss appropriate interventions for improved student success

Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within The IIE VEGA environment.
