Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate sessions, workshops, and short courses on Economics and related topics.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, relevant, and up-to-date course content.
  • Provide academic mentorship and support to participants.
  • Contribute to ongoing research and publishing initiatives.
  • Integrate interdisciplinary approaches, particularly in politics, philosophy, and financial management, when applicable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance programme delivery and outcomes.
  • Represent the institution in academic and professional forums.
Minimum Requirements:
  • PhD in Economics (mandatory).
  • Extensive lecturing experience (minimum 8-10 years preferred) in higher education or executive education environments.
  • Strong publishing track record in peer-reviewed journals, working papers, or reputable economic publications.
  • Must be locally based, Gauteng region.
  • Demonstrated ability to link theory to real-world application in facilitation.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Background or experience in politics, philosophy, or financial management.
  • Experience with interdisciplinary facilitation and engagement.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, organized, and committed to academic excellence.
