Leasing Manager

Client Summary:
Our client is a leading financial institution in the unsecured lending industry. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leasing Manager to join their Properties Team. This team manages a diverse portfolio of retail stores and commercial offices across the country, providing a full turnkey solution to both internal and external clients.

As an integral part of the Properties Team, the Leasing Manager will be responsible for identifying and closing strategically valued leasing transactions for new retail branches, commercial offices, relocations, enlargements, closures, and renewals. Our client is focused on providing the best leasing solutions and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of various property portfolios
- Identify and conclude leasing transactions for new branches, offices, relocations, and renewals
- Act as a broker for the placement of clients within property portfolios
- Manage special projects and initiatives
- Negotiate the best terms and conditions for new branches/offices and renewals
- Provide excellent client liaison and management for portfolio clients
- Ensure compliance with leasing documents and internal protocols
- Meet budget targets for new branches, relocations, and renewals
- Resolve any problematic space planning requirements for clients
- Stay up-to-date with property and industry trends and changes

Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum 5 years of practical retail and commercial management experience or 5 years of post-admission legal experience
- Property Management Diploma and/or Legal Degree advantageous
- Qualified as a Full Status Estate Agent advantageous
