Eduvos is looking to employ the services of Learning Coach on a full time basis to be based at any of our 12 national campuses.
Working conditions:
Combination of virtual and normal office / campus environment
Position:
To provide academic learning process support, guidance, coaching and motivation to students, during the online education programme and learning process, thereby contributing towards timeous completion of the programme (academic success), a positive student experience and retention (manage the student's learning and learning programme efficiently and effectively)
Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualification:
Undergraduate qualification A relevant qualification as a coach will be advantageous
Experience:
Two years' experience in the education industry (lecturer / teacher) or corporate training environment (learning and development role)
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Accountable for learner coaching ("academic cuddling"), motivation and development of a cohort of individual and corporate students up to graduation.
STUDENT SUPPORT AND COACHING
(assist with aspects such as motivation, personal barriers, time management, goal setting, assignments, logbooks, etc.)
Individual query resolution and support (inbound). Include queries from:
Students (progress queries; assignment queries; technical queries ; etc.)
Companies and other stakeholders
TRACKING AND PROGRESS MANAGEMENT
Individual student progress tracking and progress feedback (utilizing available software)
Pull progress reports
Identify risks and issues
Take appropriate action
AT-RISK STUDENT MANAGEMENT
Identify at risk students
Develop and implement action plans (incl. learning solutions) to reduce at risk students
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT CONTRIBUTION
Monitor student experience
Take actions to improve the platform to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in role as learner coach
