Working knowledge of Learning & Development theories and principles.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and modern learning practices.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint, Canva - advantageous.

Key Duties:
Responsible for but not limited to:
Training and Development Needs, Assessments and Planning:
Identify the training requirements of staff through the Personal Development Plan process.
Create a training plan per job category and ensure the plans are kept up to date.
Identify appropriate and effective training methods/solutions for the required training.
Source accredited training providers and ensure that appropriate SLA's in place.
Draft an annual training calendar and manage the coordination of training logistics.
Identify training material to be written in-house and ensure that it is relevant to targeted skills.
Course Material/ Program Design:
Develop training material formatted according to the standards recommended by SETA.
Accredit course material with the relevant SETA as per set procedures.
Preview the training material of outsourced training providers for relevance and practicality.
Develop training material for stores e.g. EMT (short courses covering various skills).
Create and develop engaging learning materials, including workshops, and other training programs, using instructional design principles.
Regulatory Compliance:
Facilitate and submit regulatory Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) & Annual Training Reports (ATR).
Register and act as the company Skills Development Facilitator (SDF).
Facilitate the regulatory Employment Equity process i.e. meetings and reporting.
Facilitate Learnerships, Bursaries and the Graduate Trainee Programme.
Training / Program Delivery:
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning interventions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
Stakeholder /Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the seamless delivery of learning and development programs.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including line managers to understand their learning needs and align training programs with business objectives.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of learning and development activities, including participant information and program evaluations.
Evaluation and Reporting:
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through various methods (e.g., assessments, feedback surveys) and report on key metrics.
