Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for the virtual and face to face delivery, facilitation and monitoring of a Global Training Platform that is used with the global training team to provide training on various activities across his/her assigned area of expertise and scope. Provides consultative interaction with stakeholders to promote alignment of vision care training contents to the business needs and to the relevant target (wholesale, offices, labs). This includes partnering with Corporate functions, company training platform and local business leaders in creating learning curriculums, engaging activities, and impactful content for all learners within his/her assigned area.

Description

  • Virtual and face-to-face delivery (% of time may vary) of engaging and impactful training across topics and learner groups including internal and external learners
  • Drives and promotes learning curriculum for assigned scope and area.
  • Promotes digital learning for all target learners
  • Track and deliver on training program KPIxe2x80x99s.
  • Helps build and reinforce a culture of learning to drive sales and consolidate relationships with clients.
  • Partners/consults with training program Lead on the effective assessment of learnersxe2x80x99 needs against ideal behaviors that drive performance results.
  • Partners/consults with Marketing and Sales Department to drive key strategic product launches and activities through training/learning initiatives:
Supports field leadership in building teams of the best people, fully engaged.

Assists with the development and implementation of training strategy, initiatives, incentives and curriculum in their market.
  • Assesses and provides feedback on training and content needs based on data collection during classroom sessions/field visits/digital surveys.
  • Stay informed of current virtual delivery trends, tools, and strategies.
  • Build and foster relationships with learners to influence and grow a strong culture of digital learning.
  • Motivates, coaches, and inspires learners to be avid brand ambassadors.
  • Supports in ensuring flawless execution of the operational components and brand standards.
  • Full NPI co-ordination for all new product set-up and support relating to this.
  • Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of training solutions; gathers feedback from the learners and relays back to local and corporate team to evolve training offerings.
  • Reviews localized content for digital courses of the assigned scope and area.
  • Responsible for business training strategy, managing of budgets as well as maintaining the database that is used for emails.
Minimum Requirements
  • Qualified Optometrist or Optical Dispenser with minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience
  • Training delivery experience
  • Clear understanding of digital and virtual learning tools
  • Outstanding virtual & face-to-face facilitation skills
  • Exceptional communication and motivational skills
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable and able to effectively prioritise
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages
