Job Description


Seeking highly motivated and experienced Lead Generation Specialist with experience in lending and dealing with experienced entrepreneurs and owner managed businesses. As a Lead Generation Specialist , you will be working together with a lending expert. Your responsibilities include generating leads within the target market, performing initial screening, setting up meetings, maintaining client relationships, driving sales growth. This role is integral to building a strong sales pipeline, expanding client base, increasing revenue, and contributing to the growth of the company. The role requires a combination of industry knowledge, sales skills, and a customer-centric approach to achieve success. The Lead Generation Specialist will contribute in the following areas: Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential leads that are in line with target market.
  • Utilise various lead generation techniques, such as cold calling, email marketing, social media outreach, and networking, to create a robust pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Attending to inbound sales enquiries & referrals (incoming calls, e-mails and referrals).
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct initial contact and qualification of leads to determine their needs, budget, and timeline for finance in line with qualification criteria.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that qualified leads are seamlessly transferred for further sales discussions.
  • Schedule meetings / discussions with the potential client for the sales team to demonstrate solution(s) and progress the deal through the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Understand clients' unique requirements and pain points to tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare supporting sales materials, including proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations, for the sales team to present to potential clients.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits and value propositions of products and service to potential clients.
  • Analyse data and metrics to track the success of our clients' sales efforts, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and progress in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and sales pipeline status to the Head of Sales.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in lead generation, cold calling or sales in the financial, lending, capital raising sphere.
  • Proven track record in lead generation or sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • High energy, positive attitude, with the ability to think creatively and handle multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management
  • Willingness to ask for help when required and provide support to others when they need it.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: R70,000.00 - R100,000.00 per month Experience:
  • lending lead specialist: 3 years (Required)
