Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in CNC & Conventional lathe programmer/operator.
Trade tested or certified machinist
Strong understanding of turning operations, tool selection, and machining parameters.
Experience with precision measuring equipment and quality inspection procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs efficiently.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate Conventional & CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to engineering specifications.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, models, and job specifications.
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds based on material and job requirements.
Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
Monitor and optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent quality.
Perform routine maintenance and report any machine issues promptly.
Maintain detailed records of machine setups, programs, and production runs.
Collaborate with engineers, team leaders, and quality control personnel to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
