Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyse portable water and wastewater chemical determinants. Conduct root cause analysis on non-conformances raised in the chemistry and instrumentation laboratory. Ensure compliance with internal management system as per the quality manual and ISO 17075:2015. Report out of specification results for the region, R&D and laboratory management. Participate in the PTS scheme as per management system requirements. Supervise all analytical work in the chemistry laboratory. Compile standard operating procedures (SOPS). Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards, Acts and Regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

B-Tech Analytical Chemistry / BSc Chemistry. Minimum of 2 years' practical experience in an accredited laboratory. Minimum of 1-year technician experience in Chemistry at supervisory level. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017. Supervisory skills and report writing skills. Computer literacy. * Valid driver's license.
