Kitchen Pass Controller
Job Duties:

  • Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to maintain smooth operations
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before sending orders out of the kitchen
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen pass area
  • Handle any issues or discrepancies in food orders efficiently
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications in food safety and hygiene
  • Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment
  • May require standing for long periods
  • Evening and weekend shifts may be required
