Kitchen Manager - Luxury Boutique Hotel - Limpopo
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead and oversee all kitchen operations at our luxury boutique hotel in Limpopo. This pivotal role is ideal for someone who is passionate about culinary excellence and hospitality, with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
-Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
-Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
-Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Monitor and manage inventory levels; oversee stock control and minimize waste.
-Order and manage kitchen supplies, liaising with suppliers as needed.
-Maintain and oversee all kitchen equipment to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness.
-Plan and develop seasonal menus in collaboration with the Head Chef or General Manager.
-Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards and enhance performance.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a similar kitchen management role, ideally within a high-end hospitality environment.
-Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-Ability to thrive under pressure and manage a team effectively.
-A culinary qualification or relevant hospitality training is preferred.
