A tertiary qualification, ideally a sciences or related qualification or previous sales experience selling chemical raw materials into the manufacturing industries is essential.
Previous experience having managed key accounts and principals within the industrial and detergent or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
The successful candidate must have good communication and computer skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing senior key accounts and suppliers within the industrial raw material manufacturing markets.
Overseeing and developing new business.
Ensuring that stock forecasts are accurate to ensure that customers get their products on time.
Managing and handling all customer queries.
Ensuring that monthly and quarterly budgets are met.
Preparing presentations on specific products and present them to customers.
Assisting customers with new product development and technical support.
Managing principal suppliers regarding new opportunities that have been identified in the industrial chemical raw materials markets.
Visiting and attending trade shows and principal suppliers for training and relationship development.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
