POSITION SUMMARY:



This is a hybrid role that blends customer support with marketing execution. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our users, ensuring they get up and running quickly with our tech, and helping them troubleshoot in a professional, patient, and solution-oriented way. On the marketing side, you'll support content development, SEO, analytics, and partnership campaigns - helping drive visibility and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Customer Support



Provide friendly and professional first-line support to customers via email and phone calls. Walk customers through setup and troubleshooting of Alertify's devices and platform. Escalate technical issues to the appropriate team when necessary. Update and maintain customer subscription data with accuracy. Track recurring issues and help identify process or content improvements. Play an active role in improving the customer experience and contributing to positive online reviews.

Marketing Support



Assist with content creation, including writing blog posts that are well-researched, engaging, and optimized for SEO. Use tools like GA4 to track website performance and report on key metrics. Support our outreach and link-building efforts to increase domain authority. Help execute co-marketing campaigns with partners, including social media announcements, asset delivery, and follow-ups. Contribute to other marketing initiatives as needed - we're a small team, and we value people who pitch in wherever needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Based in South Africa and fluent in English as a first language Excellent written and verbal communication skills - clear, professional, and empathetic Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and support new tools and platforms Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and support platforms like Zoho Desk You're proactive and eager to take initiative - not someone who waits to be told what to do Bonus: Experience writing blog content, doing SEO outreach, or using GA4 Bonus: A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

Schedule:

Flexible and remote. You'll be trusted to work independently and deliver results.

Time zone:

Due to our core market being in the U.S., you must be comfortable working evening hours to support North American customers.

Work environment:

You must have your own laptop, a fast and stable internet connection, and a quiet, professional home setup suitable for remote work.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS



R12,000 - R18,000 This is a full-time role with room for growth across both marketing and customer success. You'll be joining a close-knit, collaborative team that values initiative and personal development.
