Requirements:
Matric
Previous experience in an IT support or administrative role
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and/or Google Products like Google Sheets
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, clients and management
Able to follow instructions and pick up demonstrations easily including the ability to grasp processes quickly, including learning the Clinic Manager software
Reliable, with good time management skills
Curious about technology, eager to learn, and innovative
Self-motivated, responsible, and solution-driven
Able to develop ideas and share them clearly (in non-technical terms when required)
Able to explain solution trade-offs (in non-technical terms when required)
Able to work within a team, as well as independently
Critical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with attention to detail
Ability and willingness to transfer skills
Must reside within Cape Town
In the case of an emergency, be willing to work until the emergency is resolved
After hour/weekend support on a rotational basis will be required
Responsibilities:
Support the team by assisting with troubleshooting issues related to the Clinic Manager system, as well as basic hardware, software, and network problems.
Serve as the first point of contact for staff IT support queries, handling requests in-person, by email, and over the phone.
Assist with setting up new user accounts, email, and system access.
Assist with installing, configuring, and updating software and applications.
Install printers and handle other minor desktop support tasks.
Escalate unresolved issues to the senior IT staff where necessary.
Accurately capture and maintain data in the company systems and databases.
Perform routine data verification and ensure accuracy of records.
Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and spreadsheets.
Provide general administrative support to the Head of Departments and wider team.
Assist with filing, record-keeping and system updates.
