Junior Restaurant Manager - 4* Hotel - Johannesburg South
We are seeking an experienced Junior Restaurant Manager to join a busy, high-volume restaurant within a prestigious 4-star hotel in Johannesburg South.
This role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional with solid hotel restaurant experience who is ready to take ownership of daily operations and contribute to the continued success of an established hotel F&B outlet.
Description

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times
• Manage and lead floor staff, provide training, and uphold service standards
• Handle restaurant administration including rosters, stock control, ordering, and cost management
• Plan and coordinate corporate functions, events, and group bookings
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless FOH & BOH coordination
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Drive revenue through upselling, promotions, and strong guest engagement
• Manage guest feedback professionally and maintain excellent guest relations
• Prepare reports and liaise with senior hotel management

Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience as a Junior Restaurant Manager in a 4* hotel or high-end restaurant
• Strong hospitality and F&B management background
• Proven leadership and staff management ability
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Experience with stock control and basic cost management
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Experience managing events, corporate functions, and group dining
• Professional, well-presented, and guest-focused
• Based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate to Johannesburg South
