Junior Quality Controller Food Manufacturing
- Location: Epping Industria, Cape Town
- Salary: R12 000 to R16,000 per month CTC (aligned to experience).
In this role, you'll be hands-on with in-process checks, GMP inspections, hygiene monitoring, and documentation control, while supporting the Quality Manager in keeping the site audit-ready.
Job duties:
- Performing in-process and end-of-line checks (weights, seals, coding, labels, sensory).
- Assisting with GMP, sanitation verification, allergen control, and hygiene monitoring.
- Maintaining records and quality documentation.
- Supporting audits, non-conformance follow-up, and staff compliance training.
- A qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or equivalent (preferred).
- 12 years experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of GMP and HACCP.
- Detail-focused, organised, and confident with Excel.
- Willing to work shifts and be hands-on on the factory floor.
- Career development in food safety and quality assurance.
