A client in the textile manufacturing sector is seeking a Procurement Administrator.
Skills & Qualities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools
Detail-oriented with strong record keeping & data accuracy skills
Ability to work without supervision
Must be reliable & accountable with the planning and execution of tasks
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders or requests.
Basic negotiation skills for pricing and contract terms
Positive & proactive team player attitude
Purchase order management
Supplier & vendor management
Inventory & stock co-ordination
Report & general analysis
Support procurement projects (Assist with tendering processes, contract management or sourcing initiatives)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
Maintain vendor and supplier records
Request & evaluate quotes
Monitor deliveries and order status
Reconcile invoices and delivery notes
Maintain procurement documentation and records
Weekly tracking/planning of stock on hand
Support budget and spend tracking
Assist with tender and contract processes
Coordinate with internal departments
Identify and recommend process improvements
Advantageous: Sync experience or any ERP system is beneficial
