OverviewMy client a marketing agency based in Cape Town is looking for a dynamic and proactive Junior Marketing Account Executive to join their team.This agency specialises in strategic marketing solutions for shopping centres and the retail property sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in retail marketing, with excellent communication, organisational, and writing skills. The role offers hands-on involvement in campaign execution, events, client liaison, and social media management.Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Plan and implement marketing campaigns across various platforms
• Assist in creative strategy development
• Coordinate and manage events, including on-site support
• Schedule and manage social media content
• Draft marketing communication and reporting materials
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (proof to be provided)
• Minimum 3 years experience in a PR or marketing role
• Diploma in Marketing or Public Relations (advantageous)
• Experience in shopping centre or retail marketing will be advantageous
• Strong event coordination and implementation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple projects independently
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience managing social media channels
• Reliable, accountable, and self-disciplined
• Willing to work occasional weekends and public holidays as needed
• Own car and valid drivers licence required
