JUNIOR IT TECHNICIAN (Pastel & Syspro Support)(Area:) Pinetown(Salary:) Market Related(Ref: AG)Our client seeks to appoint a Junior IT Technician/Assistant. Must have matric with a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar position. Responsibilities include, installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications, setting up new userxe2x80x99s accounts and profiles, providing software support to users and monitoring and maintaining userxe2x80x99s computers. Diagnosing and solving network/hardware/software faults (switches and firewalls), maintaining updates for Pastel, Syspro & Accsys as well as providing user support with Syspro & Pastel. Performing minor repairs to hardware, software and peripheral equipment, formatting hard drives and re-installation of OS on old computers, server maintenance for Mail, File and Application servers.
