Junior IT Technician (JB3781)
Eikenhof, Johannesburg
R12 - 15 000 per month
Permanent

A small IT Services company is seeking a Junior IT Technician to join their team in January 2024. The ideal candidate would live in the South of Johannesburg and have at least 2 years of experience in providing technical support in Microsoft Environments.

Minimum Requirements:
Suitably qualified or have relevant experience
Valid driver's license and own vehicle, required
Setup to work in a remote capacity (Successful candidate will need to be in office for the first few months)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support in Active Directory such as user account administration and permission management.
Administration of O365 services
Offer help in troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems.
Provide support for Microsoft Applications
Basic networking such as VLAN setup, firewall configuration, and port and protocol configurations contribute to network maintenance.
Assist in configuring and maintaining VPN solutions to enable secure remote access.
