Shift Rotation, Umhlanga, Durban
R12 000 per month, plus shift allowance
Duration: Permanent

Overview
Our client, a leading provider of Managed IT, Cloud, and Security Services, is seeking a skilled Junior IT Technical Support Consultant to join their team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hardware, applications, and software, along with at least 2-3 years of support experience. They should have technical expertise in areas such as Office 365, Azure, VMWare, HyperV.

Important Note: It is of utmost importance that qualifying candidates are willing to work both day and night shifts interchangeably.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field is a plus.
Alteast 2 - 3 years of support experience
Strong technical and product knowledge, including hardware and software components.
Proficiency in Office 365 and experience with servicing certificates.
Familiarity with third-party service provider products and the ability to troubleshoot related issues.
Sound understanding of network connections and functions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and convey technical information clearly.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Process client requests and resolve incidents promptly to ensure optimal infrastructure functionality.
Ensure hardware, desktop, network, application, and connectivity functionality for clients.
Collaborate with third-party service providers to address and resolve issues as required.
Maintain functional network and infrastructure for clients.
Perform regular network and infrastructure maintenance tasks to ensure stability and performance.
Ensure timely closure of support tickets and effective communication with clients throughout the resolution process.
Strive for optimal Business Service Continuity (BSC) performance by proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Focus on achieving high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
