Job Title: Junior HR Administrator



Location: Verulam



Employment Type: Full-Time



We are looking for a career driven, enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join our HR Department as a Junior HR Administrator, reporting to the HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities: (not limited to)



Payroll Admin

:

Assist with timesheets, accuracy as well as Joiners, movers and leavers admin

Raise terminations to payroll dept

Compilation of employee payroll input

Assist with pay queries when needed

Recruitment Admin:



Job adverts and post on approved job boards.

Schedule interviews, confirm times with candidates, hiring Managers and HR

Data capturing on Applicant tracking system.

All data capturing and all admin relating to Recruitment and Onboarding

Conduct reference checks and qualification verifications where required as well as work permit checks

Prepare regret letters / emails and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates in Applicant Tracking system

Onboarding & Induction:



Ensure new employee packs are ready for new employees

Collect and check all new employee documentation (Contract of employment, ID, banking details, tax forms, next-of-kin, qualifications, etc.).

Ensure each new employee has a personnel file

Co-ordinate HR Inductions for each new employee

Maintain employee listing per month

Employee Records:



Maintain up-to-date, accurate employee records (personal details, job titles, contracts, performance reviews, warnings, training, acknowledgement of policies etc.).

Employee file audits

Filing - Ensure all HR documents are properly filed and easily retrievable.

IR administration:



Update Disciplinary Tracker

General HR Admin:



Provide HR admin support to HR Manager on all HR related matters

Support with Leave capturing

Track and reconcile leave balances and flag anomalies

General HR Admin

Performance Management Admin - support with ensuring scorecard completion and collating scores

Training & Dev admin - ensure all training registers are submitted to HR and captured accordingly. Maintain training records and training matrix for all employees.

Qualifications and skills



Grade 12 (Matric)

Relevant HR qualification (HR diploma / degree or equivalent) advantageous

HR Admin experience in a Junior HR or Admin role - 1 to 2 years' experience

Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office

Experience with HRIS systems, eg SAGE is advantageous

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

Professional, passionate with attention to detail
