Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable

Junior Foreman

to support and supervise on-site waterproofing and roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in waterproofing systems and assist in managing daily operations, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily site supervision and coordination of waterproofing crews Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site Monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications Read and interpret basic construction drawings and waterproofing specifications Report project progress, material needs, and site issues to the Senior Foreman or Site Manager Coordinate material deliveries and ensure correct product usage Provide hands-on assistance with waterproofing application when required Conduct site inspections and quality checks during and after work Keep accurate site records including daily job cards, photos, and timekeeping

Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years experience in waterproofing or construction-related work Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Valid driver's license (essential) Must be physically fit and able to work on roofs and in outdoor environments Basic knowledge of waterproofing systems (torch-on, acrylic, liquid rubber, etc.) Ability to lead small teams and communicate clearly with staff and clients Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions Fluent in English and/or Afrikaans (additional languages a bonus) Aged 25 to 40
