Position: Junior E-Commerce Assistant (Takealot Listings & Product Research)

About the Role

I'm looking for a young, dynamic, detail-oriented person to help manage my Takealot product listings and assist with ongoing product research. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, organised, and actively tuned into current social trends and online shopping behaviour.

This role is perfect for a student, recent graduate, or early-career individual wanting hands-on experience in e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

Create, optimise, and upload high-quality Takealot product listings Write clear, professional product descriptions Source and research trending or high-demand products Monitor competitor listings and pricing Update stock information and listing details when needed Assist with basic admin tasks related to e-commerce operations Keep up to date with TikTok trends, social media behaviours, and consumer trends
Requirements

Strong written English Comfortable using a computer and basic online tools Familiar with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X) Able to learn quickly and follow structured procedures No formal experience required -- training will be provided Must be responsible, reliable, and able to work independently

Experience with Takealot Seller Portal Interest in e-commerce, marketing, or online retail Good eye for what makes a product appealing
