Job Description

We are a well-established retail supplier seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Debtors / Creditors Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate processing and reconciliation of debtor and creditor accounts, ensuring strong cash flow management and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Full debtors function: invoicing, credit notes, claims, POD's, statements, allocations, and collections Full creditors function: processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment runs Daily capturing and processing on Pastel Accounting Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts Resolving account queries and discrepancies timeously Preparing monthly reports and supporting month-end processes Maintaining accurate records and filing systems Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments

Minimum Requirements

Proven experience as a Debtors / Creditors Administrator in a retail or FMCG supplier environment Strong working knowledge of Pastel Accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Solid understanding of debtor collections and creditor reconciliations High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications

Relevant finance or accounting qualification (advantageous) Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
