We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Technician & system support specialist to join our healthcare practice team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our internal systems, providing technical support, and building/maintaining our website. This is a remote position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website development
- App development
- Provide technical support for internal tools such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, Share point and One drive.
- Provide remote IT support to staff, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Monitor and maintain the performance and security of the healthcare practice's IT infrastructure.
-Collaborative troubleshooting with domain/email management using GoDaddy or similar platforms
- Troubleshoot and support VPN connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Build and maintain the healthcare practice's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and secure.
- Manage EHR system and user accounts
- Implement and manage data backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in healthcare IT.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- CompTIA A+ Certification ( Preferred)
- Proven experience as an IT Technician, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining computer systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of web development and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data protection standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
