Installation and Configuration

+ Setting up new hardware and software, configuring systems, and ensuring proper network connectivity.

Troubleshooting and Repair

+ Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems, including repairing or replacing faulty components.

Technical Support

+ Providing assistance to users with computer-related issues, offering guidance and solutions via phone, remote access, or in-person support.

System Maintenance

+ Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, to ensure optimal performance and security.

Inventory Management

+ Tracking and managing IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.

Documentation

+ Maintaining accurate records of hardware and software inventories, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.



Qualifications

Specialization



IT support or technician

Relevant professional experience



Previous experience in a similar IT support or technician role is highly desirable.

Additional qualification(s)/evidence



A+ and N+, or a related field is often preferred.

IT knowledge (systems, software...)



MS Office- Advanced Knowledge

Expertise/Experience



Technical Proficiency

+ Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.

Troubleshooting Skills

+ Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.

Customer Service

+ Ability to provide helpful and patient support to users, addressing their concerns and resolving issues.
