POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role provides comprehensive responsibility for supporting, coordinating, and enhancing the organization's IT business systems and reporting platforms. The staff member acts as the primary liaison between business units, IT service providers, and developers, ensuring that systems remain stable, integrated, and continuously improved. The position covers incident management, issue resolution, testing, enhancement coordination, stakeholder support, and financial reporting through SQL and Power BI.

Details of Function:

Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and Systems Issue Management Act as first point of contact for all IT system-related issues. Perform fault-finding and escalate to relevant vendors/service providers for resolution. Manage tickets from creation to closure, ensuring documentation of root causes and solutions. Enhancements & Testing Coordinate with developers and vendors on enhancement projects. Conduct functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide structured feedback and sign-off on changes prior to deployment. Data Integrity & Integration Run checks and balances across integrated systems (ERP, dealer portals, CRM, warranty, spares, and service platforms). Investigate and resolve discrepancies in data flows and ensure accuracy across multiple systems. Financial Reporting & Insights Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards for operational and financial reporting. Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from ERP and related systems. Partner with Finance and divisional heads to provide timely, accurate reporting and insights to support decision-making. Ensure financial data integrity between transactional systems and reporting tools. Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison Act as a systems development liaison between internal business units and external partners. Participate in regular meetings with vendors and business stakeholders to review enhancements, outstanding issues, and performance. Ensure clear communication and alignment between IT and business functions. Onboarding & Training Support onboarding of new dealers, partners, or users by ensuring correct system access and training. Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and FAQs. Cross-Division Collaboration Work with Motor, Marine, Golf Cars, Aftersales, and Spares divisions to ensure systems and reporting support operational needs. Provide feedback on process improvements, reporting enhancements, and system optimization opportunities.
Skills:

Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Azure, MCSA/MCSE) are advantageous.

Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field).

Strong IT background with exposure to ERP systems, integration platforms, and business applications.

SQL querying and database management for reporting and analysis.

Power BI dashboard development and visualization.

Development awareness/experience (not full coding, but able to understand technical requirements and improvements).

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

Proven fault-finding and issue-resolution ability.

Strong attention to detail and logical problem decomposition.

Ability to turn raw data into actionable insights for management.

Business Alignment

Ability to translate business requirements into system and reporting specifications.

Proactive in identifying opportunities for system and reporting improvements.

Interpersonal Skills

Effective liaison and communication skills for working across IT, business divisions, and external vendors.

Ability to work independently while engaging stakeholders for collaborative solutions..
