Monitoring & maintaining computer systems & networks
Responding timeously to service issues and requests
Providing technical support across the company (in person or telephonically)
Setting up accounts for new users
Repairing and replacing equipment
Testing new technology
The role may include training junior staff
Requirements:
BSc Computer Science / IT / National Diploma IT
Computer related qualifications with thorough knowledge of networking, hardware and workstation administration.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role involving onsite user support relating to hardware and software
Additional relevant technical certifications (MS Windows 10, MS Office 2016) acquired I the last 2 years
South African Citizen that is residing in Pretoria
Candidates should possess the following skill:
Excellent English proficiency both verbal and written
Specialist knowledge in IT and LAN
Good knowledge in software applications, networking & hardware.
Able to communicate clearly, present complex matters in a simple way and draft precisely.
Able to identify & analyze key points in verbal and numerical information, evaluate alternatives objectively and make sound, logical & well-argued judgements taking on board the impact of decisions.
Capacity to focus on priorities and to organize work to deliver on time.
Able to monitor progress of work and organize reviews.
