We are looking for an
IT Support Administrator
who will enable the department and the business to function optimally from an IT Support perspective.
Job Purpose:
The IT Support Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the IT department. This includes managing user and asset records, assisting with system documentation, handling IT-related reporting, and ensuring accurate data management and cleaning within Excel. The role acts as the link between technical teams and business users to ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the IT department, including maintaining documentation, reports, and user records.
Track and update IT assets, licenses, and equipment allocations.
Coordinate IT requests, ensuring tasks are logged, tracked, and closed timeously.
Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards using
Microsoft Excel
.
Perform
data cleaning and validation
to ensure information accuracy across systems.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes (e.g., user access requests, account setups).
Maintain system access and permissions logs in compliance with company policies.
Assist with vendor coordination and IT procurement documentation.
Support data migration and system update projects through accurate record-keeping and validation.
Provide basic end-user support (password resets, access requests, etc.) where required.
Monitor and manage IT support tickets logged by users to ensure timely resolution and accurate categorization.
Review and clean up ticket data to remove duplicates, correct errors, and ensure all requests are properly documented.
Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in an IT administrative or coordination role.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data cleaning, and formatting).
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Basic understanding of IT systems, software licensing, and asset management.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Pay: R10000,00 - R13000,00 per month
