Job Description
PURPOSE Provide Software Support to Business computer system users, through the phone, email and in-person to enable optimal business functioning. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Relevant IT Qualification (Business Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering)
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in software support (Advantageous)
- Understanding of business process analysis
- MS Office Proficiency
- Provide functional software support to Business users
- Provide high level resolution to IT Software issues to all Fair Price Users
- Assist users with the implementation and ongoing support of new software and features
- Guide users through a problem solving process on the relevant systems and escalate unresolved issues to the 2nd line support.
- Assist business during site closures with regards to all system changes as well as any updates required
- Coordinate information for weekly and monthly software reports
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Review software manuals for a user's perspective and provide feedback to the relevant parties
- Identify and propose enhancements for software to improve supportability, operability and performance of the enterprise application
- Effective Self Management
- Ensure all tickets and configuration items are up to date by creating your own monitoring system
