Job Description
IT ENGINEER - Kenilworth, Cape Town - Rneg
National IT company, with our head office based in Cape Town, who provide IT Support, Infrastructure and Solutions to South African companies seek a contract IT Engineer with 5-8 years experience in a similar role and their own reliable transport. You need to have exposure to desktops, servers, firewalls, wired and wireless networks etc.
Responsibilities
- Manage and address electronic tickets efficiently,
- Ensure support is professional, efficient, accurate and completed as requested
- Liaise between sales team and customers to properly address customer problems
- Troubleshoot and configure software and hardware
- Supporting on-site and remote IT technical requirements
- Fulfillment of all/general IT support requests
- Desktop/Server support including user assistance and troubleshooting
- Manage & timeous upkeep/update of the help desk & call logging system
- Manage Office 365 Environment for clients as required
- 5+ years'' of technical support experience
- Customer service oriented
- Strong written and verbal and troubleshooting skills
- A+/N+/MCSE will be advantageous
- Experience with both desktop, servers, firewalls, wired and wireless networks etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
