  • Analyse Business needs and requirements for local application and database development, utilizing current Continental standard development platforms to develop new and enhance current local applications.
  • Document all software development projects, together with secure backups of source code and database development (Systems Design Documentation/Technical Authoring)
Local Applications Maintenance and Troubleshooting -
  • Implement, maintain and enhance local applications for Manufacturing, for all business entities, using Object-Oriented Programming & Web Technologies.
  • Local application and database service level monitoring, proactive problem monitoring and issue resolution
Coordination -
  • Support and coordinate software enhancements and maintenance including incident resolution and change management
Manufacturing Suite Systems Operations -xe2x96xaa Technical application expert and local application owner for relevant MES systems/application in all manufacturing areas
xe2x96xaa Perform basic configuration, setup, and updating of MES applications that adhere to Conti standards.
xe2x96xaa Ensure reliable application operations of tire manufacturing systems.Documentation -*Document all locally created application, databases, views according Continental IT standards and best practisesIT Projects -
  • Executes IT project tasks assigned or planned for local or group systems rollouts and implementations related to the specific manufacturing area
QualificationsBachelor Degree or National Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or Engineering2 - 3 years of IT or Manufacturing working experience with at least 3 - 5 years relevant IT System Development experience.1-2 years project management expererienceAdditional InformationMedimed Medical Aid - with 3 options to choose from with the Company subsidising 50% of the costProvident Fund - 2 options to choose from with the Company contributing an additional 10.5% towards it.Tyre Purchase discount for up to 8 tyres a yearLong service awards payments from 10 years of loyal serviceStudy Assistance and Bursaries13th chequeReady to drive with Continental?
