Job Description


Job Summary Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in the field of Human Resources (ND or BTech) is a basic requirement for this position.
  • At least 6 years working in a HR environment in the manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge and experience with IR activities such as disciplinary and grievances and Union activities of at least 4 years.
  • Working with trade unions and shop stewards.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel is essential).
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • To advise and guide Management and Employees on Labour Relation matters.
  • Ensure that the companyxe2x80x99s Disciplinary and Grievance policies are applied fairly and consistently.
  • Manage relation between Management and recognised Union.
  • To ensure legal compliance of all HR policies and procedures.
  • To develop new HR / IR policies and procedures.
  • To stay abreast with latest industry developments that would influence workplace relationships.
  • Partake in cross functional HR related duties to ensure department runs efficiently and effectively.
