Job Description

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a junior administrative assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with clients during meetings in a polite friendly manner
  • Processing all aspects of client administration accurately and timeously
  • Assisting with the preparation of new business paperwork and quotations
  • Submission of new business applications accurately and within stipulated time frames
  • Liaising with product providers, working on their website and submitting queries online
  • Preparation of annual reviews within the required month accurately and in line with compliance
  • Processing of claims (risk assurance, medical aid and GAP Cover)
  • Ensure all documents meet compliance standards
Requirements
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in the financial planning industry in an administrative role
  • Solid understanding of the financial planning industry (life cover, investments and medical aid)
  • Professional and friendly manner
  • Adaptability and client service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, teamwork and time management skills
  • Computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
