Inventory Planner - NewcastleResponsibilitiesUsing planning software to feed data, analyse, evaluate and amend system recomendations to meet your set demand and supply planning requirementsCoordinate sales and operations 6 week plan by tracking movements and liasing with your stakeholdersUtilise Transportation management software to plan and issue inventory movement on vehicles thereby allocating coordinating deliveries to the transport teamTrack , monitor and change plans when necessaryWork with Business analyst and demand planner to ensure system operational changes are recorded and forecasting targets are accurateRerquirementsCompleted 3 year Degree/Diploma in B Eng Industrial Engineering ( not BTech) or BSc Maths or Stats or other analytical degree provided you haveAt least three years solid experience in Forecasting, planning and statistical analysis in a supply chain environmentAt least 1 year of continous improvement or business process experienceSome experience using forecasting softwareExperience in correctly extracting data from an existing database/ MIS, extrapolating data to determine trends andTrends analyses to properly and appropriately compile a management reportIntermediate ExcelA high degree of analytical skills, logical reasoning and systems thinkingEffective verbal, non verbal and written communicationJob Type: Full-timeSalary: R40,000.00 per month
