MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric plus a minimum of 3 years Internal Sales experience in the Industrial Equipment/Marine industry
Strong numerical aptitude understanding of financial and sales-related calculations
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle customer inquiries efficiently and professionally by phone, email or in person
Provide accurate and timely quotes in line with customer expectations and internal procedures
Foster strong customer relationships by offering effective product solutions and advice
Ensure all transactional documentation (invoices, delivery notes, certificates etc.) is accurate and complete
Maintain accurate filing systems (including POD''s and related documentation)
Minimise credit notes by capturing correct customer and order information upfront
Promote a cooperative team environment assist colleagues, when possible, to ensure deadlines and targets are met
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members take and relay messages promptly
Support the Store team by managing realistic customer expectations and delivery timelines
Continuously improve knowledge of products and their applications to better assist clients
Provide tailored solutions that help customers get the job done efficiently and effectively
