Our client in the Bulk Materials Handing Equipment industry is seeking Internal Sales Assistant to join them in Randburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will have a formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering with at least 1-2 years experience in similar position.
As a projects Internal Sales Assistant, you'll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on turnkey projects for materials handling systems to technical and non-technical decision makers. Your main objective is to provide the necessary assistance to the Sales Engineers in preparing the critical and non-critical spares lists for all existing and prospected projects of the companyJob Title: Internal Sales Assistant (Projects)
Geographical area: Randburg, Gauteng
Salary range: R 15 000.00 Basic + CommissionThe successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Sales of products and/or services that best satisfies customer needs in terms of project scope, quality, price and delivery deadlines.
• Assist with negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both the customer and company needs.
• Assist the Sales Engineers in hosting technical presentations and demonstrate how the company product / projects and process meets the customer needs.
• Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical colleagues to prepare detailed spares lists for all the existing prospected projects.
• Preparing costing models and mini procurement sheets for all the critical and non-critical spares for existing and prospected projects.
• Assist in preparing the PFDs and P&IDs of the projects where necessary.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• A recognised Engineering Qualification. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Previous involvement with materials handling equipment, valves and instrumentations will be an added advantage.
• At least 1-2 years experience in similar position.
