Job Description


Our client based in the Durban North area is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Administrator. The ideal candidate should have exceptional leadership or supervisory skills and the ability to operate under pressure is critical.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
  • Clear criminal and ITC credit record.
  • 3-5 years experience in a sales administrative role.
  • Experience in dealing directly with customers and / or customer service.
  • Proficient in new Microsoft 365 applications. Skilled in Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word as well as Adobe PDF.
  • Proficient in SAP BYD
  • Strong general computer literacy. Ability to navigate new systems, reports and detailed excel data.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, with sound numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including telephone etiquette.
  • Sound time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in processing of export product sales / logistics administration is advantageous.
  • Approachable personality to assist colleagues in all aspects.
  • Excellent customer service track record.
  • Unwavering stance on ethics.
  • Ability to contribute towards a positive working environment with colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Processing sales orders in the company's ERP system (SAP).
  • Communicating with customers regarding all sales administrative tasks.
  • Ensure high levels of Distributor engagement, relationships and customer service
  • Working closely with sales, product management and logistics departments to align with company wide projects and goals.
  • Assisting with company rebate programme by analysing sales reports and drafting monthly update mailers.
  • Communicate with sales product consultants on a daily basis with regards to sales, stock management, pricing, lead times and deliveries.
  • Processing of orders
  • Checking stock levels
  • Following up on back orders
  • Corresponding to customers queries (Back Orders, ETA, Stock levels, order ques)
  • Checking sales orders reports
  • Validating pricing versus Pos and discount structures.
  • Managing stock planning
  • Liaising with couriers and warehouse to manage dispatches
  • Opening of product codes
  • Following up with customers on payments overdue
  • Assisting cash customers with proformas and payments
  • Tracking weigh bills
  • Managing returns
  • Range Management: Ensure support in terms of discontinued product strategies, range rationalization and re-positioning.
  • Ensure compliance to all brand / corporate image / brand ambassador programs - Be a Brand Ambassador internally and externally.
  • Ensure all company policies and processes are adhered to timeously and accurately.
