We are looking for a passionate Legal Intern to join our team at our Midrand Offices. What will the programme look like?
The internship program is designed to provide interns with an environment conducive to professional skills development, value-based learning, career development and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Summary of the Role
- Assist with the drafting legal correspondence
- Reviewing contracts under manager's supervision
- Legal research
- Attend meetings and participating where necessary
- Assisting the legal team to prepare and conduct internal legal training
- Learning and using internal software tools
- Completing all internal personal development courses as provided by Sage and tasks related.
- Assist the legal team with making sure that the internal policies, contracts, and marketing material comply with the latest laws.
- Understanding and staying up to date with Sage internal policies.
What will make me successful?
- A grade 12 matric certificate
- Must have completed an LLB from a reputable institution.
- Must be able to work on Microsoft packages (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- No Criminal record
- A proactive and motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Excellent communication (both verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
- Good work ethic
- Interest in law of contract, privacy law, competition law and technology.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to support Legal team
Office Location
Midrand Office - This is a hybrid role, three days per week.
What can I expect from the process?

- Complete a gamified science-driven assessment via Harver, to help us accurately assess if you're aligned to our values and behaviours, whilst removing any risk of unconscious bias from our process.
- If you match the profile, you'll be sent a video interview to record.
- If your video interview is successful, you'll be invited to an Assessment Centre
- Successful candidates will join our Intern Programme on 1st October 2025 for 12 months
