Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the First Year Success Programme.
  • Assist with compiling reports in the Office of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Manager.
  • Provide support towards diary management of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Manager.
  • Capture data generated from tutorial attendance registers on a weekly basis.
  • Assist the Faculty Teaching and Learning Manager and the First Year Success Programme Coordinator with tracking at risk undergraduate students.
  • Compile minutes of the First Year Success Programme meetings.
Inherent requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree on NQF Level 7.
The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:
  • Have not participated in any learnership / internship programme.
  • Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
  • Has no formal work experience.
Recommendations:
  • Postgraduate qualification.
  • A valid drivers' license (Code 8 or 10).
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Salary:
