Intermediate / Senior Inbound Consultant
Are you passionate about travel, driven by results, and known for delivering top-notch service? We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Inbound Tour Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this client-facing role, you'll be responsible for managing enquiries from international tour operators and crafting exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences across Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound travel enquiries and create tailor-made itineraries for FITs and ad hoc groups
• Quote travel packages for custom itineraries and agent booking platforms
• Provide expert advice and outstanding service to overseas partners and tour operators
• Oversee full booking lifecycle from enquiry to travel completion
• Convert leads into bookings using confident, client-focused sales techniques
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and value-added services
• Liaise with trusted suppliers across Southern Africa to ensure quality and consistency
• Communicate professionally via phone and email, maintaining service excellence
• Participate in after-hours duty on a rotational basis
• Maintain high service standards and attention to detail across all bookings
• Collaborate with team members to meet shared goals and deadlines

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in inbound tour consulting
• Proven experience working with international tour operators
• Deep knowledge of Southern African destinations and travel products
• Skilled in FIT and group travel planning and quoting
• Comfortable with both itinerary creation and online agent quoting systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and general computer applications
• Creative thinker with a solid grasp of numbers
• Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Experience dealing with senior corporate clients a plus
