Job Title:Interior Design Assistant
Reports To: Production Director Bruno, CFO and CEO

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Interior Design Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

As an Interior Design Assistant at Classic Revivals, you will work closely with the Senior Interior Designer to provide comprehensive support throughout the design process. In addition to assisting with various design tasks, you will also handle filing and administrative duties to ensure efficient project management.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Senior Interior Designer to understand project requirements and objectives.
2. Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations for client meetings.
3. Conduct research to source and select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
4. Support space planning activities, including furniture layout and coordination.
5. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
6. Coordinate and communicate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
7. Assist in managing project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
8. Perform filing and administrative tasks to maintain organized project documentation.
9. Manage material and sample library, including cataloging and organizing samples.
10. Assist with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
11. Provide general office support as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field or experience if not degree is present.

Previous experience
3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit or blender.
4. Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
8. Strong filing and administrative skills.
9. Familiarity with office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
10. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R6000,00 - R26000,00 per month

Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
