Job Description
Introduction
A position is available in Alberton for a qualified Technician to perform site preparation and install generator sets and associated components.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Trade qualification required - Welder or Boilermaker. Skilled in welding (Co2 and TIG) Experienced in fitting and installation of diesel tanks and pipelines, attenuation and ducting. Experience in lagging and cladding will be beneficial. Strong knowledge of safety regulations on construction sites. Must be able to perform accurate quality checks and complete all related paperwork thoroughly and neatly. Ability to effectively manage, motivate, and develop team members Valid SA driver's licence. Must be a South African citizen. Physically fit perform daily task (standing for long hours, reaching, bending, lifting). Safety orientated. Excellent skills on managing workload and time. Good communication skills. Must reside in Ekurhuleni or able to relocate prior to starting employment. Willing to travel for projects. Willing to work after hours and on weekends/Public Holidays and Standby.
