INSTALLATION MANAGER

At Alveo Water, we design, install, and maintain innovative water and wastewater treatment systems across Africa. We are seeking an experienced Installation Manager to oversee end-to-end project installations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every site.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can lead teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Project Managers with installation planning, coordination, and execution

Managing project budgets, expenses, and financial reporting

Ensuring high-quality installation standards, site housekeeping, and tool maintenance

Planning and overseeing installation and commissioning phases

Enforcing safety standards on-site in line with OHSA and internal protocols

Traveling to local and international project sites for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Installing treatment plants according to technical drawings and engineering specifications

Performing maintenance, mechanical repairs, and system diagnostics on-site

Identifying and resolving installation or commissioning issues promptly

Sourcing emergency materials to avoid project delays

Conducting daily toolbox talks and providing clear task instructions to the team

Maintaining professional appearance, punctuality, and daily reporting

Promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration across all sites

Communicating clearly with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

Proven experience in installation management, preferably in water or wastewater treatment systems

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process installations

Experience in project budgeting, scheduling, and reporting

Ability to lead and motivate teams in high-pressure environments

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required
