Job Description

Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity within the organization. This role involves analyzing operations, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and ensuring that resources are effectively utilized while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization methodologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis and process improvement tools / software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design, implement, and optimize production and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and other industrial engineering methodologies to improve productivity.
  • Develop and maintain work standards, time studies, and methods for measuring performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, logistics, maintenance, etc.) to implement process improvements.
  • Create and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Evaluate equipment layouts and recommend improvements for workflow, space utilization, and ergonomics.
  • Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for process improvements and new projects.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and results.
  • Support automation, digitization, and technology integration within operations.
